Kate received her bachelor’s degree from Central Washington University specializing in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resource Management. Over the last 14+ years, she has worked in a variety of specialty practices including dermatology, vascular surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, and interventional cardiology.
During her time with each specialty, she was responsible for operational oversight of finance, human resources, facilities, IT, marketing and outreach, billing and coding, and clinic quality. She has managed multiple clinic growth and expansion projects including buildouts and relocations, provider recruitment, partnership structures, adding new business lines, merging two different practices, and increasing patient access.
Kate has a servant leadership style and is highly collaborative. She leads with empathy and consistency and has a special interest in finding individual strengths while building a collective culture. She believes that when providers and staff feel a sense of belonging in a supportive work environment, they are professionally fulfilled and motivated to work at their highest level. In her free time, Kate enjoys reading, snowboarding, and walking her two Australian Labradoodles – Penner and Addie.
